After several years of twists and turns, the LED industry has gradually shown a calm and calm amidst all kinds of doubts and criticisms. In 2012, "the lack of core technology", "quality unevenness", "overcapacity", "lack of standards", "winning bids" and "government procurement" became the focus of discussion in the industry. In 2013, "LED lighting first year", " Key words such as the tide of bankruptcy, "integration of mergers and acquisitions", "returning politics to the market", "building channels and branding" and "O2O" sang the entire Shenzhou land.
According to the picture, it is not difficult to find that the tremendous changes in the LED lighting industry in the past few years are even more opportunities for businesses and enterprises.
The first big opportunity: "Government returns to the market"-government procurement, industry standards, and local benchmarks have taken the safety, reliability and life of LED lighting products, especially LED street lights, to pass the basic barrier. Earlier, the "Shenzhen LED Industry Development Plan (2009-2015)" was abruptly announced without any warning, but most of the industry enterprises thought it was a good thing that "the government returns to the market".
The first year of LED street lights has come. Many organizations predict that the LED outdoor functional lighting market will reach 11.6 billion yuan in 2013, an increase of 41% year-on-year. In 2013, the number of LED street lights installed in Guangdong Province will exceed 1.1 million. The number of LED street lights and LED tunnel lights are planned to be installed at 880,000 LED street lights and LED tunnel lights. In 2013, the shipment of LED street lights in Mainland China will reach 2.31 million, an increase of 72% year-on-year. Following China's Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway full-course LED lighting renovation project opened up a new era of outdoor lighting-the world's longest full-course LED smart lighting highway; in October 2013, the city of Los Angeles announced the completion of 150,000 street lights renovation. Thailand’s National Electricity Company PEA’s bid for 500,000 street lights is still in progress.
Second opportunity: Under the strong promotion of international LED giants, the standards for standardized modules, color rendering, overall lighting efficiency, safety and energy-saving certification for indoor LED products in the export market have gradually become clear.
It has become easier for medium and large-scale LED lighting companies with independent research and development to take orders-scale, financial strength, quality assurance capabilities, and complete product certification seem to have become the four major conditions for ordering. Companies can clearly understand that the latest LED light source and lighting certification standards in Europe and the United States have characteristics in lighting design. The faster the technology is updated and the more complete the certification, the easier it is to receive orders at the exhibition.
Lamps exported to the United States must meet UL/cUL certification requirements, but only large consumption channels for EnergyStar certified products can be purchased in large quantities, because this involves local government subsidies. TUVCE and ERP energy-saving certification in Europe, SIRIM certification in Malaysia, TISI certification in Thailand, SAA certification in Australia, ETL certification in South Korea and PSE certification in Japan are all entry requirements that we must consider when positioning in different markets.
In October, the American retail giant Walmart surprisingly launched the GREATValue brand LED bulb product. It replaces 60W A19 LED bulbs without dimming. The terminal price is 8.88 US dollars per unit, and the dimming one is only 9.88 US dollars; it replaces the 65W indoor PAR. The price is only 14.88 US dollars, and the dimming is only 15.88 US dollars. Compared with the traditional white woven lamp, the price may be less than 1 US dollars in the United States. Consumers who choose environmentally friendly LED products at this price are hugely attracted.
Therefore, LED light source manufacturers with automation and mass manufacturing capabilities can find a way out in the export market of LED bulbs and LED tubes. In the past two years, companies that can achieve breakthroughs in design and process technology and adopt automated equipment production may become big winners in the subdivision field.
The third biggest opportunity: from the LED industry's strategic thinking on brand channels triggered by the bankruptcy wave, the vertical integration of listed companies has become a trend. Since 2011, the LED industry
